INFRASTRUCTURE TOOL

Whois & Domain Analyzer

Query global databases (ICANN/Registry) to find registration details, expiration dates, transfer status, and NameServers (NS) for any domain.

What is Whois?

Whois is a public protocol (Port 43) that reveals the ownership details, registration date, expiration, and hosting provider of a domain name. Server admins use it to check if a domain has expired or to identify its DNS providers.

Whois Privacy (GDPR)

Due to GDPR laws, personal contact details (Name, Email, Address) are often hidden as "Redacted for Privacy". However, the Registrar name and critical dates remain visible.

What is ClientTransferProhibited?

If you see this status, it means the domain is locked against transfers. You must unlock it from your domain control panel before moving it to another registrar.

Domain FAQ

Can I check country domains (ccTLD)?
Yes. Our tool supports global TLD servers, including country-specific ones like .uk, .de, .tr, and .cn.
When does an expired domain become free?
A domain does not drop immediately after expiry. It goes through a "Grace Period" and then a "Redemption Period". It typically becomes available for public registration about 75-80 days after expiration.
